Bella String Quartet or
Trio |
| The
Bella String Quartet was formed in 1994 by graduates of the Birmingham
Conservatoire. The quartet has performed throughout the Midlands
and beyond. Engagements include performances for the Bewdley and
Bromsgrove festivals, the Elgar Society in Malvern, the Birmingham
International Film Festival and the Birmingham Midland Institute.
The BSQ played at the opening of the new Birmingham Children's
Hospital in the presence of the Queen and Prince Philip. The Bella
String Quartet is well known for its vast experience in providing
music for wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday parties and
all kinds of business functions. They boast an extensive repertoire
which can cater for a huge variety of tastes |

Sherwood Quartet |
| The
Sherwood Quartet was formed in 1997 by a group of young musicians
interested in playing music together and following a number of
requests, began playing at concerts and for wedding reception's
in the local area. Today, the quartet comprises four young ladies
based in Manchester and for the past few years we have traveled
all over the country and abroad playing a variety of musical style
to suit the needs of each individual occasion.Our repertoire comprises
a number of string quartet by Classical composers including Haydn
and Mozart. Some examples of the well-known quartets are Mozart’s
Divertimenti and Eine Kleine Nachtmusick, Haydn’s The lark
and Pacelbel’s Canon |

Palm Court Trio |
| a
well established trio. Having performed formally at many of the
country’s leading venues (incl, Festival Hall, B’ham
Town Hall, Barbican Centre...) and appearing regularly on national
radio and TV. The trio is a common feature at many important business
and social events. They have entertained H.R.H. Princess Anne,
been resident at the Hyatt Regency and provided music for an endless
list of private and company functions. Consisting of violin, cello
and piano their extensive repertoire covers the well loved classics
through to exciting arrangements of popular standards and jazz |

Spirits Quartet |
| The
Spirits String Quartet was formed in 1990 by Helen Fitzgerald.
All the players are graduates of Birmingham Conservatoire. This
extremely versatile and talented quartet have toured with American
Rock Group Meatloaf, Roger Daltrey, Alice Cooper, Gary Brooker,
Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone and Barry Manilow. For the past four
years they have worked on a regular basis with Chris de Burgh regularly
touring and recording two albums with him. Engagements recently
have included the launch of The Eurovision Song Contest, the G8
Summit of World Leaders and the UNESCO Gala in Dusseldorf. |

Allin Quartet or Trio |
| If
it’s elegance and sophistication you’re after, nothing
compares with the classic style of the string quartet - The Allin
Quartet specialise in popular classic and light music for parties.
The members have all graduated from the leading music
schools. All are experienced orchestral and chamber players and
combine their expertise to create that distinctive sound - Mozart,
Mendelssohn, Strauss, Elgar..., plus exquisite arrangements of
more recent music - Scott Joplin, Lloyd Webber, Irving Berlin to
name but a few. A string Quartet is the perfect
musical and visual accompaniment for that special occasion |

Allin Duo |
| When
a flexible programme of music is required, such as a string quartet
over dinner, a Ceilidh to start the evening’s dancing, followed
by a jazz band, with a disco to finish - look no further than the
Allin Duo. It is the collective name for all the musicians led
by Ralph, (mostly graduates from The Conservatoire) who can present
the range of different line-ups with the least amount of disruptions
- (fewer players, one PA system, and all co-ordinated as one).
From a violin and cello duo through to a five piece band, the Allin
Duo will meet the needs of any occasion, blending your ideas with
their experience to create the perfect solution, whatever your
requirements |
